There are few people who don’t wait eagerly for another Pixar/Walt Disney movie. The good news for them is the making of the third Toy Story movie which is set to hit the cinemas on the 18th of June, 2010 (US)– a perfect time for the kids!
Toy Story 3 is set to be the finale of the series and so the expectations from it are pretty high. This time around, the movie’s direction has been taken over by Lee Unkrich who co-directed Toy Story 2 and also worked on editing the previous two movies.
Woody and Buzzy (in the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen) are back in action. Andy, by now a grown kid, is getting ready to go away to college. He decides he’s going to stash all his childhood plaything in the attic before he leaves but has a change of heart and decides to take Woody along.
Unaware of his intentions of doing so, his mother put them all out for the garbage men to collect. From there they are taken to a daycare center where they find themselves fighting for survival. Woody takes the lead as usual and strives hard to both save his friends and find them loving homes but it’s not easy.
Matters get complicated when Buzz gets damaged and reverts to Spanish when his mates attempt a reset. What happens to Buzz? Will all the toys find loving homes? Watch the movie to find out.
